YOUR TASKS

  • Design and development for embedded software using C++ in a Linux environment

  • Collaboration with other team members to ensure that software meets the technical specifications

  • Performing test activities according to the corresponding software development stages (unit, integration, functional Testing)

  • Analysis of technical problems and errors, and development of appropriate solution

  • Conducting code reviews to ensure a high standard of code quality

  • Creation of software documentation according to the development process

  • Participation in team discussions to ensure the modularity and maintainability of the software

YOUR PROFILE

  • Several years of professional development experience with C++ 14 and above

  • Hands-on experience in the development of software components based on requirements

  • Strong experience in Linux environment, Scripting with Bash or Python; Build/CI tooling with CMake

  • Knowledge of design patterns and how they can be applied to solve common problems

  • Experience in writing (unit/integration/etc.) tests

  • Experience in the use of standard software development & CI/CD infrastructure and tools - e.g. revision control systems (git), build pipelines, testing, packaging, deployment

  • Previous experience with third party frameworks like ESO Fw is a plus

  • Fluent English and German is advantageous (requirements are in German)
