YOUR TASKS

As a Senior Infotainment Test Engineer, you are responsible for:
  • Designing, implementing, and documenting a test automation environment with a focus on software and functionalities in the infotainment domain
  • Identifying, creating, and maintaining effective test strategies and test plans for the next generation of infotainment systems
  • Analyzing and verifying requirements for testability
  • Specifying, automating, and executing test cases
  • Assisting the development team in reproducing and verifying defects
  • Analyzing test results and traces from test benches and vehicles
  • Maintaining and improving test result and test bench documentation

YOUR PROFILE

    • You have completed studies in automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
    • You have 5 years of relevant work experience in E/E automotive development or experience as a testing engineer in the electronic engineering domain
    • You possess in-depth experience in infotainment-related areas (communication, audio, media, connectivity, telephony, radio, navigation, or positioning)
    • You have profound knowledge of the Vector toolchain (CANoe, CANape, CAPL), EXAM, and networking technologies (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
    • You have programming skills in Python, C/C++, or C#.
    • Experience with common diagnostic tools like ODIS, IDEX, or equivalent is advantageous
    • Experience with a simulation tool (e.g., CarMaker) would also be beneficial
    • You have experience in Requirements Engineering, preferably using DOORS or Code Beamer
    • Knowledge of testing processes, requirements analysis, and specification methods complements your profile

    Your personal competencies: 

    • You prefer a team-based work approach in an agile project environment
    • You are a good and effective communicator, both in German and English
    • You have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, take responsibility for work packages, and set the right priorities
